One hundred years from now it won’t matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my cloths looked like. But the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child. – Forest Witcraft
As part of a family of four that lives on one income I know how expensive this time of year can be.
As we get closer to the holidays there are many things clamoring for your time and attention. There are lots of things you need to spend your money on like bills, holiday gatherings, and gifts for family and friends. There are also a lot of people and charities who are asking for your hard-earned money.
You probably feel like you have too many expenses of your own to deal with and there are too many charities asking for your money that it’s easier to just not give any money at all.
You also probably wonder how much of your donation will actually go to a cause you care about. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There’s a really simple and easy way you can donate to a great cause that won’t take a lot of your time (or money) and where you can be sure 100% of your money will go to helping people in need.
The organization I’m talking about is The Hope Effect, a new non-profit created by Joshua Becker, author and founder of Becoming Minimalist. Joshua started The Hope Effect to revolutionize the way orphans are cared for.
Many people believe the orphan crisis is being adequately addressed, but the facts tell a different story.
For as little as $10 you can make a donation that will help provide access to health, dental, education, and social care to a child that otherwise might never receive these services that many of us take for granted.
I’m donating my birthday to help raise money for The Hope Effect. I’ve decided that I don’t need any more things, but there are a lot of children out there who do.
My goal is to raise $500 by my birthday on November 29. Simply click below to make a donation.
The money you spend on this one donation will last a lot longer than any gift you can buy to put under the tree. Don’t wait, make a donation today!
