Trusting God doesn’t mean pretending you’re fine when you’re really not.

Sometimes people will share something awful they’re going through, then put a smile on their face and say, “But God is good!” as if everything is okay.

You don’t have to fake it until you make it. You’re not a bad Christian if you say, “This has been really hard for me. I know God is good, but I’m struggling to understand why He’s allowing this right now.”

Admitting your struggles doesn’t weaken your faith. It reminds you why you need a Savior in the first place.
