Its hard to have a conversation with someone when something is wrong if you never talk about what they’re doing right.
Most parents and leaders only reach out to their kids and teams when they need something or when they’ve done something wrong.
Interactions like this are like making withdrawals from an account you never make deposits in. At some point, it’s going to catch up with you.
The more you encourage people with what you see them doing right, the easier it’ll be to talk with them when you notice something wrong.
