One of the most painful things about prayer is when you ask God to change something in your life and He doesn’t.
Looking back in my life, I can see where God did some of His deepest work during some of the lowest points in my life.
That doesn’t make the heartache easier, and there are moments when I still struggle with all of it.
But remembering the hardship that Jesus endured for me helps me trust God when His work in my life is painful.
Sometimes God greatest work happens in the seasons we most want Him to end.
