In our Children’s Ministry we’ve always struggled with what to do when families lose their check-out tag when picking up their kids. It inevitably becomes a headache with all the security procedures that go into keeping a Children’s Ministry safe.
Recently our team created this tool below (adapted from the awesome Kidmin team at Mariner’s Church) in a preventative kind of way to help our parents. It’s a handout where they can put their tag. On the front side it’s got some instructions on how our check-out procedures work. On the back it’ll have a map of our campus to help new families find their way. In its final form it’ll be on a half sheet of paper.
