Solitude is spending quality time by yourself. Stepping away helps you process what is happening around you and within you. It's not a rejection of the world but a rest from it. The world is easier to face when you’ve first faced yourself.

The more we hate our enemies, the less we look like Jesus. On the cross, He prayed for those who mocked and killed Him. To love like Jesus is to treat our enemies better than they treat us. Loving those who hate you keeps their hate from taking root in your heart.

Giving gives our lives meaning. A life lived only for ourselves will always feel empty. But when we give, our lives become full. The more we pour out, the more God fills us up.

Worry comes when we run ahead of God. Peace comes when we walk with Him today. You don’t need to see the whole board—just the next move. Let who God is today quiet your fears about tomorrow.

Life isn’t meant to be endured—it’s meant to be enjoyed. Hardship is inevitable, but joy isn’t. Be as intentional about creating happy moments now as you are about preparing for rainy days. Postponing joy briefly builds discipline; postponing it too long breeds despair.
