You’ve got to wrestle with the right questions to find the right answers.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” — John 3:30 (ESV)

John’s disciples were concerned that Jesus’ ministry was growing while theirs was shrinking. But John knew—that was the point. His ministry existed to make much of Christ, even at the cost of his own.

If Jesus is going to increase in our lives, there are places where we must decrease. But we won’t see them unless we’re willing to ask the right questions.
