“Seize the day” sounds inspiring—but it can take you places you were never meant to go.
Scripture warns us, “There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12). What looks good to the eyes isn’t always good for the soul.
God never called you to seize the day.
He called you to follow His way.
Real freedom isn’t found in following your heart or chasing what’s popular, but in walking faithfully with Jesus one day at a time, and finding rest in Him.
