In Luke 1, the angel Gabriel tells Zechariah that after decades of waiting, he and his wife will finally have a son. Zechariah’s name means “God remembers.”
For years, his name probably felt like a cruel joke. But God hadn’t forgotten him. God was preparing something bigger than Zechariah could see.
When you feel forgotten, remember that God remembers you, and He still has a plan for your life.
