It’s a line I’ve heard dozens of times in Home Alone 2, but for some reason it landed differently this year.
In one scene, Kevin says, “Your heart might still be broken, but it isn’t gone. If it was gone, you wouldn’t be so nice.”
There’s something about helping someone else that brings healing to the hurts in our own hearts.
A heart that can help is a heart that can heal.
