The violence of this weekend is heartbreaking. I wish the holiday season could shield us from the horrors of sin, but it doesn’t.
The violence and brokenness in our world remind us all the more of our need for a Savior. The Gospel gives us hope for the future even as we mourn the tragedies of the present.
As you grieve over the evil in this world, remember: the light of Christ shines even in the darkest places. His hope is real, His love never fails, and His mercies are new each morning.
