The holidays are a mixture of gratitude and grief.

We are grateful for the people we love, the blessings in our lives, and the good work we get to do. We also grieve those we’ve lost, the dreams that are not yet, and the burdens we continue to carry.

Give yourself space to grieve what needs grieving. Notice the blessings and beauty that remain and allow yourself to experience what joy they can bring.

Whether it’s during the holidays or in the everyday, remember: grief and gratitude can coexist and God is present with you in both.
