I am directionally challenged, so I use my GPS often. My GPS doesn’t always take me to the same place in the same way. Sometimes there’s roadwork going on, more traffic than usually or bad weather conditions, so it’ll take me another route. I’ve learned over the years not to stress out about it. I’ve discovered it’s usually best to trust the path my app has laid out before me.
This is the same approach I try to take in my relationship with God. The road He takes me on isn’t always the one I would have picked – or preferred – but I know He has a bigger perspective and will take me where I need to go.
It’s easy for us to trust our GPS, but it’s not always easy to trust God. Today, let’s learn to follow His lead, knowing we can trust Him because His love is faithful and His plans are not only good, but are for our good.
