Thanks for checking out my blog. It is focused on helping leaders lead better in the areas of church, faith, fun, leadership, and relationships. I believe if you’re still breathing and of sound mind then you can better yourself to make a difference in the world. This blog is all about helping you do just that.
I want to pass on what I’m doing that’s working for me and might for you too. I’ll also share some of my bone-headed mistakes so you can (hopefully) avoid them. And from time to time I’ll post something I hope will help you laugh and enjoy life.

I attended Biola University in La Mirada, California where I graduated in 2003 with a BA in Christian Education. After graduating I became the Children’s Pastor at a small church in Bellflower, California. After helping that Children’s Ministry develop small groups, discipleship tools and ministry teams for kids, a volunteer orientation process, and redesigning our building for kids I accepted a position at Christ Fellowship, a mega, multi-site church. While there I helped to develop curriculum, a preteen ministry, and training materials for volunteers.
In 2010 I became the Children’s Ministry Pastor at the Victorville Campus of High Desert Church. Here I help provide direction, representation, teaching, and leadership development to help staff and volunteers care for over 1,100 kids and their families on a weekly basis.
In 2003 I married my beautiful wife, Sarah. We have 1 daughter named Angela and are in the process of growing our family through adoption. We currently live in Apple Valley, California.
In my free time I enjoy writing, reading, hanging out with my family, and playing board games with our friends.
