About

Hi, my name is Jeff Mc Clung. I’ve been in Children’s Ministry since 1996. I am currently the Children’s Ministry Pastor at High Desert Church in Victorville, CA. I graduated from Biola University where I met and married my college sweetheart, Sarah.

When I’m not at work or writing for this blog I’m playing Nintendo Wii with my wife, getting ready to adopt our first child, and hanging out with family and friends. I’m also a technology geek, even though I know the machines will probably take over someday.

I write about things I’m passionate about like children’s ministry, becoming a better leader, and why I think Goldfish Crackers are one of the worst things in the world.

My goal with this blog is to resource, inspire, and encourage Children’s Ministry workers around the world, come alongside leaders so they can avoid some of the bone-headed mistakes I’ve made, and help you laugh and enjoy life.
