The latest freebie to the blog is our Elementary Coordinator Job Description. It’s not long (about a page) with all of the details about this part-time position at HDC Kids. Here’s a glimpse into what an Elementary Program Coordinator does:
The Elementary Program Coordinator works under and with all Elementary Directors to provide a smooth running program. They will set up the green-room, classrooms, and check in areas. They will facilitate leader briefings, and when necessary, emcee sections of the program. They will assist children’s ministry staff, other coordinators, volunteers and parents as needed.
At High Desert Church this is a paid, 8-10 hr a week position, but it can easily be tweaked to become a volunteer spot at your church.
Whether you are at single or multi-site church, have a lot of staff, or have no staff, a person doing stuff like this can go a long way to ministering to the people who you have ministering to the kids and families in your church.
