My Bible Journey…Ezekiel 27-28

Ezekiel 27:26-32 – It’s strange how the things we really want in life can weigh us down. The older I get the more I realize that the less “stuff” in my life the more I’m able to focus on what’s really important. The less clutter, the more clarity.

Ezekiel 27:33-36 – Are the things that you’re putting so much time into right now going to even matter a year from now? How about five years from now? What you’ll remember most about this time in your life later on is how good or bad the relationships around you are. Focus on telling a better story with your life by making memories with the people who you really care about.

Ezekiel 28:1-5 – Don’t let the size of your ministry, your buildings, or your bank account define you. Use your head but don’t let them go to your head.

Ezekiel 28:6-11 – Do the people you lead and pastor see you on some kind of pedestal or are you approchable enough that people can be open and honest with you about what’s really going on

Ezekiel 28:20-23 – Start acting like the kind of person that you want to be known for. The rest will start to take shape the more you do this.

Ezekiel 28:25-26 – The most important thing in life is to know who God is, do your best to live according to His standards, and help your oikos do the same.

Ezekiel 29:9-11 – Give credit where credit is do. How can you expect other people to do that for you if you don’t do that for them?
